Smudge Away ….

Smudge away ….

Last night I was talking to my beautiful friend Lesley and we were discussing energies in rooms and how they feel.

Kind of a weird conversation (but we’re like that), however I couldn’t help thinking that it had been a little while since I’d smudged my home. After the last couple of months it was definitely necessary. My home is always open during the day with fresh breezes however, in some areas, it has felt a little stagnant or stuck.

This morning I decided to smudge not only my home, but myself as well.

To be honest, I already feel so much better so I thought I’d share my findings with you. I was so inspired I’ve gone through my wardrobe (almost halved it)! I also went through some of the things I brought with me from Fee Why which don’t work here. The whole process is so therapeutic and I’m looking forward to letting in lots of new love and fun!!

First of all, get yourself some white sage from your local health food or spiritual shop. It’s not that expensive but also good to shop around (I found the cheapest at Warriewood Square ;))

Then, grab a bowl to catch the dropping ash (I just do it before I vacuum), light the end (making sure it’s smoking) and wander around saying (or thinking) what you intend. I often say the same things e.g.:

  • Thank you for bringing in lots of love, health, wealth and fun.
  • Thank you for bringing wonderful new opportunities into my life.
  • Thanks for helping me to know what is good in my life and what I no longer require.
  • Thank you for moving any energy away from me, and my home that I no longer require.

Have fun with it, be careful not to burn anything and enjoy the process. There are lots of ways you can do this and some are truly wonderful so go with what you enjoy, that’s the best way. I don’t go in for the tricky rituals in case I drop something (and I’m a little lazy ;))

Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions or send me your suggestions and pictures, I’d love to see what you do.

PLEASE NOTE: Animals don’t like this so please be mindful of their sensitivities.

Much love,

Fifi
